Book Loving Black Girl is a blog site by, well, a book-loving Black girl! The purpose of her site is to recommend book reads to fellow Black women, while also earning affiliate income from Amazon for doing so. With this site, the client opted for a cost-effective version in which I utilized a theme and then customized it to her needs. I also integrated her Amazon Affiliate account so that she will earn an income on any purchases linked from her page.
We came up with the color scheme together and then I translated her wishes into Hex codes and imagery. A gradient overlay give is a chic yet playful look. I completed the project by providing a custom style manual also.
Overall, this project met the client’s needs and I had a blast doing it!
