Makeshift & Curated is a Black Woman owned boutique making artisan small batch soaps and face/body care products. This client came to me for help creating an eCommerce account that would streamline her ordering process so she no longer had to take orders via DM.
I chose to create this site with Shopify because it is very user friendly and she’d be able to maintain it once I set it up. I focused heavily on back-end functionality, including linking shipping rates, loading the initial set of about 15 products, Search Engine Optimization, connecting payment platform, and more.
On the consumer facing side, I focused on clean and functional design that drew the client into the world of unapologetic self care. The result is a bright, fast loading, easy to navigate site that clearly communicates the brand purpose and vision.
