What can I say about this project!!! I had such a great time collaborating with Creighton Leigh on this broad scale project. Creighton is a sex educator who has a strong passion for Black women, children and femme persons. She has been using her platform to advocate for the community through reparations in which non-Black persons send financial assistance that she then distributes out based on need requests.
The purpose of this project was to provide a home for her efforts where people can go to request assistance, get information on how to get help, as well as connect with Creighton’s community. The scope for this project included:
- Custom WordPress Website Design
- Modernization of current logo
- Obtain hosting
- Monetization of site
- Several contact forms
- Custom imagery
- Setup and connection of print-on-demand service
- Search engine optimization
- Setup of secondary domain using WordPress
- Mailchimp account setup & custom e-mail template
- Website accessibility functionality
It was quite the task! I am proud to say that we made it happen though and what you will see over at Voix Noire is a robust community run by a VOLUNTEER warrior who is 100% legitimate and who DOES THE WORK. Consider supporting and check out the site for yourself!
